BREAKING: Police Hands Over Wanted Delta King To Military

The police have handed over the wanted King of Ewu, Clement Ikolo, to the military after he turned himself in.

Delta State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, confirmed the development.

King Ikolo, one of the eight persons declared wanted by the Defence Headquarters in connection with the killing of 17 military personnel in Okuama community, surrendered to the Delta State Police Command on Thursday.

He arrived at the state police command headquarters at 6:41 pm, reporting himself to Police Commissioner, Olufemi Abaniwonda.

Before surrendering to the police, the monarch addressed journalists, maintaining his innocence.

Earlier in the day, the Defence Headquarters had declared eight individuals, including Ikolo, wanted over their alleged involvement in the recent killing of 17 military personnel on a peacekeeping mission to Delta State. The other persons declared wanted are Prof. Ekpekpo Arthur, Andaowei Dennis Bakriri, Akevwru Daniel Omotegbo (Aka Amagben), Akata Malawa David, Sinclear Oliki, Reuben Baru, and Igoli Ebi.
