Veteran actress, Joke Silva has debunked rumours that her husband, Olu Jacobs has died as widely reported on the social media.

Reacting to the rumour, the celebrated actress who a few days ago celebrated her sixtieth birthday said, “Don’t mind them, they’re just talking rubbish; don’t disturb your head. He is in the living room right now about to have Eba and Ogbono soup. Let them keep deceiving themselves. He is hale and hearty.”

Rumours spread on social media on Tuesday that Jacobs had died after a brief illness. Several Nigerians had started panicking and sending condolences to the actor’s family.

Fortunately, the actor is still alive and the rumours have now been put to sleep.

The veteran actress recently marked 40 years as an actor as well as her 60th birthday and had earlier revealed that her biography titled #[email protected] is “actually in the works.”
