The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has observed this year’s Eid-el-Kabir prayers in Daura, Katsina State on Tuesday.
Present during the prayers is the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruq, and other Muslim faithful.
They were led by the Chief Imam of the town, Alhaji Safiyanu Yusuf, at the Kofar Arewa Prayer ground.
The President and the Emir exchanged kola nuts and also slaughtered rams as part of the occasion of the Sallah festival.
