Super Eagles defender, Kevin Akpoguma was in action as Hoffenheim edged Bochum 3-2 in Saturday’s Bundesliga game.
The Nigerian international was making his second appearance of the season for Hoffenheim.
He came on for Stanley Nsoki in the 46 and had a decent performance.
The visitor took a shock lead in the 10th minute through Simon Zoller before grabbing his brace in 13th minute.
However, Hoffenheim fought back brilliantly as Baumgartner pulled one back before Ozan Kabak and Munas Dabbur scored respectively to give the host a 3-2 win over Bochum.
The victory means Hoffenheim sit 8 on the league table on 3 points while Bochum sit 16th without a point.
