Shootings In Federal Poly Oko; One Killed, Other Injured

There was sporadic shooting around Federal Polytechnic Oko campus in Anambra state, which has led to the death of one and a gun injury to another, making students run helter skelter for safety as the shooting continued unabated.

The incidence, which happened close to the popular Tipper Road, witnessed some gun wielding men, who alighted from a motor bike shooting, sending everyone scampering.
When the shooting subsided, a tricycle rider was shot dead at close range, as the bullet tore through his forehead, while another, a male was shot in the neck as he was rushed to an unknown hospital by students.

According to Igbere TV, students attributed the attack as the handiwork of cultist, others to robbery which now seem ‘normal’ in Oko without any proactive measure to curtail it.
