Oyelowo joins the all-star returning cast that already includes Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson and James Corden, who voices the mischievous Peter Rabbit. David Oyelowo’s character has not yet been revealed, but it will be a live-action role.
Details about the upcoming sequel are still quite scarce, but Variety has learnt that the sequel will follow Peter Rabbit as he continues to stir up trouble with his fellow furry friends. Will Gluck will also be returning as writer-director for the sequel.
