Last year, Adekunle Gold not only dropped his flawless sophomore album, About 30, he also delivered a few impressive features — from Sess’ King of Boys OST, “Original Gangster” to other tracks that went bafflingly unnoticed, such as Mannywellz’s “Yeoo”.
The talented Mannywellz first released “Yeoo” on his SoulFro EP, which came at the start of 2018. Looking to add a bit more fire to the bop, Mannywellz enlisted Adekunle Gold for a remix that vastly improved upon the original.
Seeing as society unwittingly treats poverty as the most unforgivable crime in the world, Mannywellz uses the impressive “Yeoo” to openly express his desire for wealth in order to attain freedom to live his life and find love.
Adekunle Gold echos these sentiments on his adept second verse. The star is very well-placed on this remix — his voice weaves seamlessly through the mid-tempo beat and his synergy with Mannywellz is pretty unparalleled.
