Kelechi Iheanacho came on for Jamie Vardy in the 83rd minute of the defeat for Leicester City.
Nigerian forward Isaac Success was an unused substitute for Watford.
Leicester City will face Fulham in their next game on Saturday while Watford travel to the Etihad to face champions, Manchester City.
