Enugu Rangers started their campaign in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup on a resounding note following a comfortable 2-0 home win against Salitas of Burkina Faso at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday, reports Completesports.com.
The visitors arrived Enugu few hours before kick-off and were totally outplayed by the Flying Antelopes who wasted a number of clear cut chances in the game.
Rangers took the lead as early as the 2nd minute with Godwin Aguda hitting the back of the net to the delight of the home fans.

It was Aguda’s sixth goal of the competition.
Isaac Loute put the game beyond the visitors when he scored the second for Rangers on the hour mark.
Tunisian clubs, Etoile du Sahel and CS Sfaxien will clash in the other Group B fixture later on Sunday.
