Mr Eazi's meteoric rise has been pretty amazing to watch, and given the recent quality of his music — from "London" to "Property" — it's not hard to see why.
He's also been on a killing features spree this year, as we saw on WSTRN's "Lovestruck", Da BeatFreakz's "Take Over" and Major Lazer's "Let Me Live". He's now brought this same energy to CDQ's latest jam, "Soft".
Within seconds, you can already tell that "Soft" is a banger, thanks to the mellow beat, coupled with Mr Eazi's infectious delivery. When you hear "M-m-masterkraft on the beat", you know you're in for a treat, and that's very much the case on "Soft".
Unfortunately, CDQ isn't quite as effective as Mr Eazi on his own song — leaving the banku singer to do most, if not all, of the heavy lifting — but that doesn't detract from how much of a jam the song ends up being.
The accompanying video reiterates the well-known fact that men are trash, as it follows a man being caught out with his wandering eyes on several occasions. We're not sure what that storyline has to do with the song, but we'll never turn down an opportunity to throw shots at shitty men!
