It wouldn't be far-fetched to say that Davido is currently the world's leading afropop star, and with each new release or feature, he keeps proving that he deserves this status. From his monster hits to the artists he's been putting on, he's definitely hard at work and deserves a ton of accolades.
He's no stranger to international collaborations, as we've seen previously on tracks like "Fans Mi" featuring Meek Mill and "Pere" featuring Young Thug and Rae Sremmurd (even though everyone likes to pretend that it didn't happen). Which is why it's no surprise to see Davido collaborate with American rapper, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie on his latest song, "Way Too Fly".
While this is not the Quavo collab we anticipated, we're always happy to hear new music from Davido, so this will have to do for now. We think the song could have done without A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, as Davido is definitely the best part of it, however, he still manages to keep our attention and isn't completely drowned out.
We're not sure what genre this song fits into, but it's always nice to see Davido successfully testing out new sounds.
