Super Eagles star, Kelechi Iheanacho was in action as Leicester City played out a six-goal thriller against OH Leuven on Saturday.

The Nigerian international was playing in his first preseason game after last season’s impressive performance in the Premier League.

City trailed 2-0 after 15 minutes after shoddy defending and a Daniel Iversen error gifted the hosts chances, but they fought back in the second half with goals from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Patson Daka.

A Daniel Amartey error then cost City another goal, but Jamie Vardy was on hand to get them level again.

City came closest to winning it when Timothy Castagne delivered a fine cross to the far post. Iheanacho headed over, to the frustration of Vardy behind him, who slammed the crossbar in rage, knowing the ball would have been at a much easier height to nod in had the Nigerian let it run.
