Manchester United set to land Monaco superstar this summer

Premier League campaigners Manchester United are reportedly planning to sign Djibril Sidibe from Monaco this summer according to Daily Star quoting Le 10 Sport.
Following an unimpressive season in all competitions, the Red Devils are ready to offload some of their unproductive players to allow fresh legs make their ways to Old Trafford.
Matteo Darmian, Daley Blind and Luke Shaw are a few of the players that might be shipped off before the start of the next season.
And with Jose Mourinho shopping for a new full-back, the France international seem to fit the bill of what the Portuguese tactician wants.
However, Le 10 Sport claims that the Old Trafford outfit are ready to make a move transfer’ for the 25-year-old – with the two clubs starting negotiations in the coming hours.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are hoping they can seal the deal before this year’s World Cup kicks off next month in Russia.
A deal for Sidibe will take a big chunk out of Mourinho’s transfer kitty as the French club expecting United to cough out £52 million.
Sidibe has also been included in the French team for the World Cup by coach Didier Deschamps.
He joined Monaco from Lille in 2016 and he has four years left on his contract at the Stade Louis II.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that Manchester United have established communications with Sidibe’s representatives ahead of a possible summer move.
French media, Le 10 Sport, report that United gaffer Jose Mourinho has identified Sidibe as a top summer transfer target and a move has already been launched.
