Buhari renews Momoh’s appointment as CMD National Hospital

President Muhammadu Buhari has renewed the appointment of Dr. Jafaru Alunua Momoh as Chief Medical Director, CMD, of the National Hospital, Abuja.

In a similar vein, the President also approved the reappointment of Dr. Nwadinigwe Cajetan Uwatoronye as Medical Director, National Orthopedic Hospital Enugu, Enugu State, for the second and final term.

The appointments are to take effect from 5th July 2018 and 30th May, 2018, respectively.

Congratulating the CMDs on their reappointments, the Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole, in a statement on Friday urged them to improve on achievements already attained in the hospitals to justify the confidence reposed on them.

“I also hope that their reappointments would enable them work collaboratively with all stakeholders, ensuring harmony and continuous delivery of quality healthcare services to the populace,” the Minister said
