Manchester City are monitoring Paris Saint-Germain’s Financial Fair Play casewith a view to making a sensational play to sign Kylian Mbappe if UEFA sanctions push them to sell some of their star players, claims the Mirror.

The France international is on loan at PSG, with a £167 million deal in place to make his stay in the French capital permanent this summer.

The 19-year-old has struck 19 times in all competitions, chipping in with a further 17 assists to impress in his debut season with Les Parisiens.

Pep Guardiola is a known admirer but the Blues will almost certainly find that PSG will explore other avenues before selling their prized possession
