Former Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State on Friday visited former Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State.
They were both governors on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and were also members of the PDP G7, seven governors opposed to the second tenure of former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.
Amaechi later defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) but Lamido remained in the PDP and continued the struggle.
