Gift Orban has completed his medical tests and signed as new player of French Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyon.

This is according to Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

On Wednesday, Romano reported that Orban is close to joining Lyon from Belgian side Gent.

Romano revealed that Orban will head to France to finalize details of the transfer.

He has now confirmed that the deal will be valid until June 2028 and Lyon will pay €13m fee to Gent.

Orban will have to hit the ground running for Lyon as the club is wallowing in the relegation zone in Ligue 1.

They are currently in 16th (relegation playoff zone) in the 18-team table.

Also, Lyon have only managed four wins, four draws and suffered 10 defeats in 18 league games played this season.

Meanwhile, the 21-year-old striker has three goals in 17 league games this term.
