Natasha Akpoti, an ex-governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kogi State is set to tie the knot to the Alema of Warri Kingdom, Emmanuel Uduaghan in Delta State.

Her fiancé shares the same name as former governor of Delta State Emmanuel Uduaghan.

The wedding is scheduled for March 5, 2022, in Ihima, Kogi State, Akpoti’s hometown.

Akpoti had on Valentine’s Day shared a picture of her engagement ring on Facebook. She also reportedly got a Rolls Royce as an early Valentine’s Day gift from her fiancé.

Her fans have been sending her congratulatory messages on social media.

A single mother of three, Akpoti, a lawyer, contested the Kogi Central Senatorial election on the platform of SDP in 2019 and lost to Senator Yakubu Oseni of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In October 2021, she accused a former presidential aide Reno Omokri of making advances at her in 2014.
