You entered the landscape of my life
Totally unannounced.
Out of no where, there you were.
An imposing figure;
Tall, ebony dark, well built,
With lips to die for
and what an amazing voice.
I know not how this happened,
But my all being;
My mind, my soul and my body
Were under your spell.
We flirted instantly,
Our eyes met.
Each checking the other's boundaries,
Subtly touching.
Each checking the other's response,
And toucing again.
We connected there and then.
Just like that, spontaneously.
It was wonderful, discreet
and highly charged.
Our unspoken words
Said it all:
We both knew
That from "playing with fire"
We had actually lighted it
and a smouldering heat ws now flowing between us.
Having been in emotional hibernation
For an extended period,
I was both in shock and immensely excited.
My mind, my soul and my body
Begun to vibrate to a new frequency,
My aligned self was back.
I was once again Celebrating Life.
My soul is back, smiling at the window of my being.
The landscape of my life has new horizons.
I thank you for the gifts of colour, sounds and emotions
You offered me and with humility I accepted.
With the energy from those gifts
I have allowed myself to become a more vibrant person,
For that I shall be forever grateful.
