I am but, living on a borrowed time and borrowed culture

I am but, an alien to the present form of civilization

Which deflect my culture and tradition

When though my eyes open to borrow

I have lost my originality and dwells in colon atmosphere

Inadequately or wrong termed civilization

That bastardizes our original concept of culture.

My old man never had a wrist watch

but, he had a very good ideal of time

My forefather never wore a shirt neither trouser

but, he always dressed elegantly in typical Africa attire

He did not go to school

but, he communicate fluently with his friends

He never watch television

but, he is very much abreast of news

My identity, I have lost

in the hand of dog, chasing is tall;

Which will never get nor feel.

Silent.........
