All I wanted was a heart’s ease
But got a torn at my heartstring
All I wanted was my heart to be cuddled
But got the pain in my heart doubled
I wanted to see the light of love
But got thrown into the hateful dark
I thought I caught the sight of love
But I was wide of the mark
How long will my heart get torn?
How long will I be spurned?
Will I forever live on lovelorn?
Why should my love not return?
Time will heal a broken heart
Will my shattered heart ever mend?
How long will I walk on the lone path
Will I ever see its end?
Maybe I was cursed
When did I cross the evil witch?
Or maybe I am the cause
