I met a city of the deaf and dumb
When the flood of death sank me in the bowels of earth
In this silent kingdom
All citizens are at leisure
And detached from the worries of life
But the animals have faded our beauty
For they have synthesized us to bones
We were once among the breathing that float on us
And they shall soon be like us
That lie here decayed!
