I AM SURE
a. I fell in love with her
Not because she’s gem
But because I’m sure
She’s just the one God has for me.
b. I gave my love to her
Not because she’s goodly
But because I’m sure
She’s just the match God made for me.
c. I’m sure, I’m very sure
That she’s not a Jezebel
I know, I know for sure
That she’s not a wanton wench
I prayed, I prayed to God
And asked for goodly wife
That’s why, that’s why I’m sure
That she is a gift from God.
d. She lead my kind of life
And do the way I do
Everything about her
Is just a replica of me.
e. I gave my love to her
Not because she’s gem
But because I’m sure
She’s just a match God made for me.
f. If you think I’m lying
Come and see things for yourself
She’ll shake her head at you
If you try to mess around.
g. She is such a prudish type
Who feel the way I feel
Even devil knows
She’s just a match God made for me.
