DON’T BE LIKE ME
a. Everybody want to be like me
Everybody knows that I’m a gem
It takes the fool to be like me
It takes the wise to be a gem.
b. I am Amagem
Just be your gem
Don’t be like me
I’m not like thee
It takes the wise
To build the wiz.
c. I’m a sage,
I’m not Jesus
Call me Amasage
I have focus.
d. I’m a sage
Take my message
I am indeed
A man of God.
e. I’m a star
I’m not David
Call me Amastar
I’m just candid.
f. I’m a star
I’ve been a songster
I am indeed
A man of God.
g. I’m a guru
I’m not Solomon
Call me Amaguru
I was born a don.
h. I’m a guru
I’m not like you
I am indeed
A man of God.
i. I’m a gem to the core
I’m not shallow
I’m a sage for sure
I don’t chest shadow.
j. I’m a guru,
A well-to-do
I am indeed
A man of God.
k. I’ve got wisdom
To build Christendom
In all my getting
I get understanding.
l. I’m born to bless
A gem indeed
I’m not like anyone else
In the world.
m. I have focus
I live in Jesus
I am indeed
A man of God.
n. Don’t get me wrong
I am not Jesus
It’s him I sing
He’s my focus.
o. I am indeed
A man like Solomon
I’m not David
I was born a don.
