The dark cloud looms about
darkness lurks in the corner
shadows everywhere
threatening to engulf
Grief takes precedence
the music stops
wind stills
has time stood still?
Then a spectre of light
shines in the darkness
suddenly, it glows brighter
chasing the darkness away
Shadows are gone
music is heard again
Its lyric comforting and soothing
though for a short while
but the ember will linger
even after the light fades.
