Their fames sound in every sector
Not because of their capability
But because their man is in the office
Government offices become their heritage

No other person dreams of the office
It is their birth right
A traditional exchange of baton
And the race continues in their race

It doesn’t matter whether he is a lame
He must run the race
Dragging of feet becomes part of the show
Those with the magnificent capacities; ejected

With this, how would the nation grow
Corruption has eaten deep into us
To be like them you must pay for it
Or else, the baton perpetually eludes you

Who started this is no more the question
But who continues to live in it
No matter where, when and how
No matter the level of the deed

Rigging of election is not for nothing
Behind it lies a prejudice
Our man must be there to shadow us
Our man must be there to help our race

We should then reflect twice about our future
Before we raze it with today’s gain
