How robbers killed eight police officers in Kogi





Armed robbers during an operation at an old generation bank in Isanlu Town, Yagba East Local Government, Kogi State killed eight police officers. The robbery operation was said to have begun at 4.00pm and lasted about one hour as they had field day robbing the bank huge sum of money.

The robbers were said to have first attacked a police station in the town where they killed over eight police officers before the bank robbery operation. The police officers killed at the police station were said to include the Divisional Police officer and other officers of junior ranks.
