Eagles’ 1st 11 Vs Libya: Rohr Hands Collins First Start As Iwobi, Shehu Returns

Gernot Rohr has handed Paderborn left-back Jamilu Collins his first start for the Super Eagles in today’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier clash against Libya in here in Uyo, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Rohr also recalled Alex Iwobi and Abdullahi Shehu to the starting line-up for the crucial encounter.

The German tactician also recalled William Troost Ekong to the defence line to partner Leon Balogun, with Abdullahi and Collins as the full-backs.

In midfield, Oghenekaro Etebo also returned to the starting lineup and will partner Wilfred Ndidi.

Alex Iwobi will play in the No.10 role with Odion Ighalo leading the attack. The Changchun Yatai striker will be flanked by Samuel Kalu and captain Ahmed Musa.

Rohr however has listed Henry Onyekuru, John Ogu, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Ola Aina Isaac Success and Kelechi Iheanacho as the substitutes.
