Senator Akpabio Officially Resigns As PDP Minority Leader



Senator Godswill Akpabio has reportedly tendered his resignation letter as Minority Leader of the Senate, as part of his exit from the PDP.

Akpabio thanked the senate Minority leadership and referred to the PDP as “our great party”, “for giving him the opportunity to lead the caucus for three years.”

In the letter dated August 4 and addressed to the Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Emmanuel Bwacha, Akpabio did not state any reason for his resignation.
