Nigerian man and wife filled with joy as they welcome birth of son after waiting for 9 years (photos)

In Africa, it is very important that a couple have children of their own. Some couples are not fortunate enough to have kids early in their union, however, it is always a joyful celebration when they finally welcome their own child.

Nigerian gospel artiste, Uchena Thelma Eshareturi, could not contain her joy as she welcomed the birth of her son.

The pretty singer and her husband, Omax, had been hoping on having a child for up to nine years. However, their wait as come to an end as they recently welcomed a baby boy.

The excited gospel star took to her Instagram page to share the good news as she posted photos of the baby.

Congrats to the couple.

In other news, reported that a woman was pleasantly surprised when she gave birth to triplets after expecting just one child.

Phumzile Mathebula welcomed her three adorable sons on Friday last week, Daily Sun reports. She said when she went into labour, she was expecting just one baby.

Although she’s full of joy, she appealed for help because she and her husband, 41-year-old Andries Mkhombo, are both unemployed.
