Family Man Beaten To A Pulp After He Was Caught During Robbery Operation In Edo

A robber has escaped being lynched after he was apprehended during an operation in Edo state.

According to an eyewitness, Don Pedro, the suspect was caught around 5am while robbing around 3 House Upper Sakponba in Benin City, the state capital.

People who claim to know the suspect identified him as a married man with three children.
A locally made gun was found in his possession along with other stolen items including goat/cow meat. He was beaten by the mob and paraded with the stolen items as he begged for his life on Wednesday.

The suspect was later taken to the police station for further interrogation.
