Since Tekno announced his upcoming EP, he's released two songs — "Anyhow" and "Yur Luv" — to give us a taste of what's to come. Now, he's dropped a brand new self-produced song, "Jogodo", which takes us all the way back to 2005 by sampling Mad Melon & Mountain Black's "Kpolongo".
Of course, given his recent affiliation with Drake, everyone is expecting a collaboration between these two, and we'll have to admit, the only reason we listened to this song from start to finish was to see if the Canadian rapper might pop up at some point.
That's not to say that we didn't enjoy the song, as it gave us a flush of nostalgia with the catchy hook and chorus. We're not sure what the subject matter is, as it's mostly full of slangs and made-up words that we don't understand, but the song is definitely the best thing he's released this year.
