Punch reports that Justice Chuka Obior could not proceed with the case due to the absence of both the prosecutor, Kelvin Uzozie and Nnamani, who was said to be out of the country.

NAIJ.com gathered that a lawyer from the chambers of Rickey Tarfa (SAN), M. Bamidele, announced appearance for Nnamani, but said the ex-governor was not in the country.
Bamidele said the notice for the hearing was received six days ago by his law firm, saying it was too short to contact Nnamani who was not in the country.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)’s prosecuting counsel, Uzozie also wrote to the court, seeking an adjournment.
The judge fixed December 4 for the re-arraignment of the ex-governor and his co-defendants.
NAIJ.com had previously reported that the national Christian elders forum has called on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to stop sending former governors who mismanaged the resources of their states to the Senate.
