Photo: Yusuf Buhari Returns From Medical Trip



There was wild jubilation today at the Presidential Villa following the return of Yusuf Buhari from medical trip abroad.

Governors, ministers, top government officials, family and friends of President Buhari gathered to welcome and rejoice over Yusuf's return as he has fully recovered from the accident that nearly claimed his life.
Yusuf Buhari returned to the country in the early hours of Thursday. He was welcomed by the father, Muhammadu Buhari who gave him a handshake before they sat together to discuss other matters.

His wife Aisha Buhari and many other family members were present at the Villa. The wife of the president later expressed her profound appreciation to Nigerians for the successful return of her son from medical treatment.

Thanking Nigerians for their support the wife of the President wrote on Twitter: “We thank God for the return of our son Yusuf today after his medical trip.

"On behalf of the family I wish to express our appreciation for the goodwill and prayers since the unfortunate accident.

“May God Almighty bless all and continue to guide us all aright,” she tweeted.

The personal physician of Yusuf's mother, his elder sister Halima Buhari and other family members including the Minister of Interior Abdulrahman Danbazau, Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Minister of State for Health, Dr Osagie Ohineri were all in attendance.
