From Rihanna incorporating South Africa’s gwara gwara in her Grammy performance last year, to Diggy Simmons relentlessly attempting to shaku, dance trends on this continent quickly become global phenomena.

Right from when visual media became a way of promoting music, Nigerian acts have been delivering weird and wonderful moves for us to try out — from Olu Maintain’s body rolling gang signs with the yahooze to Iyanya’s waist-twirling proficiency with the kukere.
