Almost two decades ago, seeing Eucharia Anunobi on the poster for a Nollywood film automatically meant that she was playing a sinister role — a character we loved to hate.

We haven’t heard much from the iconic actress in recent times, however, it seems she’s making a comeback, as she plays the lead role in upcoming film, Zero Hour, alongside fellow veteran, Richard Mofe-Damijo.

Shot between Abuja and Accra, the upcoming thriller follows the execution of a dubious deed, for personal gain. While the recently released trailer doesn’t give too much of the plot or storyline away, it has definitely sparked our interest.

Another thing the trailer has done is revealed the film’s eclectic cast. Joining Annuobi and RMD are Alexx Ekubo, Ayoola Ayolola, and many others, so we’re very intrigued. Speaking about the character he plays, RMD said:

“This guy is a pretentious bastard; that is the only way I can describe him. He is two-faced and you have to do more to know who he is.

The character is from the north, but this is not my first time acting a character from the north in a movie. However, I expect more collaboration and films from the industry that will break the large scene”

Well, again, we’re very excited to watch this film, as we don’t usually get thrillers in these parts. Zero Hour will be available in cinemas nationwide from March 22, so before then, make sure to check out the trailer here:
