UNDER SUN AND RAIN

Days fade and waste, pray for a new day
To struggle and strive, all search for the way
The bevy of whitened slaves and khaki masters
Create channels of angst, makes hate grow faster
Blind schemes enacted from deluded brains
Kills patriotism, as unity go down the drain
Mixed pride and shame of being a corper
A servile year of golden mirage, for fatherland suffer
Then get jilted at the start of new beginnings
To face a jaded future by wiles and bargaining
We call her giant, my country! My country?
That devours her offspring with utmost scorning
Come one, come all, make the fatherland great
Share loot, divide-conquer—ethnoreligious schism create
Pick the pieces and glue it, mourn for the pockets
Forget myriad sons and daughters in prime buried in cheap caskets
And truth in shades and degrees is measured
All for to share the national treasure
The children, the youths—the future of the nation
Lay shackled in limbo by visions without direction
Yet all amazed, wonder how we so naturally blessed
Become destitute of mind evilly dressed
