I know a place where people love to struggle
Lookout in the streets and you see the hustle
Yet In the evening the men come out to sip some bottles
Somehow everything still seems colorful
Lookout of your windows and you see the danfos
Even in itz rickety nature it still looks green
just like d colour our flag holds
Yes everything is still looking so colorful.
I've never seen a place with so much talent in the streets
Like the number of talent that my 9ja breeds
Even if we are not reaping the fruit of our oil riches
The country is still looking colorful.
Yes how great can a people be
In all our differences we are still united in our heart
Take me far and near but I tell for 9ja
In ma heart ís a place so dear
Still colorful.
Have you ever taken a close look at a 9ja lady
Or evn tried one of her delicacy
Then maybe you'll see the glory
And maybe why our men have lots of babys
You know they say the heart of a man ís in his belly
just like the peoples money is in their leaders belly
Yet we nigerians keep smiling
