INTOLERANCE

The city burning in high frequency
Fatal disaster looms, the world in danger
The high rise in intolerance scares me
Hatred for diversity in nature baffles me
Diversity, some of which we have no power over

Why are you avoiding me?
I ‘m not the monster you think
I’m just different from you
This is how I see myself
And both of us can’t change it

When things are difficult to be changed
We must learn to live with them
Tolerance becomes the only solution
Without which the burning continues
And disaster looms from every angle

I know you are different from me
But we have to live together in peace
My freedom and rights stop abruptly
At the point where yours start
Thus, the secret of harmonious coexistence

War and violence‘ve rocked the world
Because of intolerance, phobia for the other side
Total disregard of another man’s rights and freedom
In blind and selfish pursuit of own benefits
That regularly donates many bodies to their early graves

You are not the ideal man in our world
We both have our limitations
Just as we have our strengths
Harmonious living is the solution
To cross-fertilize ideas for better future

Stop the killings, shun the segregation
They are crimes against humanity
Shedding my blood makes you a vampire
Segregating against me makes you a dummy
Am sure you are far from being any of these.
