Poverty is bitter stuff
Job to choose what hurts is tough
People love sweet thing
They love it flowing
No one chooses hardship turf
The dreadful thought is common
Poverty strikes like demon
Low level is fund
Ego shrinks unsung
Joy of life lost no sermon
Poor spirit is a bad sting
The low spirit keeps paining
Hope tends to fizzle
Faith becomes brittle
Frustration destroys planning
Bitterness per se depends
On effect, to give it tends
Poverty tools break
Poor status don’t take
Hard it is to make amends.
