In the beginning I was a nobody!
You gradually made me somebody.
And even though you weren't acknowledged!
You still elevated my status.
In all my deeds I left you out!
In all of yours you put me first.
And though I sometimes went astray!
You gently counselled with a lesson or two.
And when others could only see a handsome face!
You saw the beauty I possessed inside.
I cheated on you a million times
You still were always by my side.
For everything I’d always call!
You never ceased to pick my calls.
And all I did was always ask!
becos I knew u'd always give.
I asked for me, I asked for them!
for some were Blood! others I liked
You gave to me and also to them.
And when my eyes would overflow
cos, the pain I felt was too much to bear!
Your 'TLC' would ease the hurt.
The Elites had said; my time was up!
A drop from Calvary proved them wrong.
And now I know becos I live
that I can, your love, to none compare,
becos its indeed the greatest of all!
And when in truth your name is 'LOVE'
