Nothing To Do In Lagos? Try A Bar Hop Or Check Out A Play

Every Friday, Nothing To Do In Lagos in partnership with Konbini, will be choosing the most exciting and diverse events happening around Lagos each weekend.

NTDIL has been kind enough to collate some of the best events happening in Lagos this weekend, and because we know making a choice can be too much of a chore, we decided to go through the events and pick the ones that have the most potential for a good weekend outing.

From barhopping to a play, we picked two events we think you might want to clear your calendar for. If you want more options, you can check out NTDIL’s Instagram page or sign up to their weekly newsletter right here.

Local Joint Bar Hop

Not your average night filled with mojitos or Long Island iced teas, this local bar hop is all about cheap drinks, plastic chairs, and local food for those with strong stomachs. Leave your ajebutter at the door, and prepare for night with the locals.

Meet up point: Jazzhole,168 Awolowo Rd, Ikoyi, Lagos at 5:30 pm

Jungle Justice

The play, Jungle Justice is a courtroom comedy centred around the trial of Ijimere Ika who is accused of murdering his friend, Kasali. The writer, Femi Branch artfully and hilariously captures the contemporary Nigerian society in one courtroom.

Showing this Sunday at TBS Banquet Hall, Onikan at 6:00PM. Tickets are available at the door – Regular N3,000 VIP N10,000
