Rivers State Patriots in United State of America have thrown their weight behind the candidature of Rivers State Governorship aspirant, Chief Dumo Lulu- Briggs as the Governor of the state in 2003.
The president of the group Dr. Charles Odu told THISDAY that the body announced support for the Lulu-Briggs at the annual convention of the body in New York city.
According to him, the Rivers Professionals living in the United States had looked at the plethora of candidates aspiring to the top most political office in the State, and concluded that Chief Lulu-Briggs was the man to take the State out of the wood.
"We say, this without any form of bias, but with the interest of our children and generation yet unborn," he asserted.
Rivers patriots, he said is a group of Rivers Professionals in the USA coming together to contribute their quota for the growth of the State.
"In Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, we see, a young, Dynamic, result-oriented professional, with compassion to release potentials of our long-suffering people", Dr. Odu stated.
