I must be very honest with you, my brother. Talent comes naturally; you can't force yourself to be what you're not. Sometimes, people take a shot at it, but not without consequences. Can't you tell, from everyone's judgment that your joke was lame and out of contest? I was looking forward to a masterpiece kind of joke - for I know the joke - when I hit what felt like a brick wall. The joke came to an abrupt end that left me so totally disappointed. You can't tell a story without a plan. Every story, joke, or narration should have a smooth transition of actions; that's what earns renowned writers their fame.
If this joke was made a child's first joke, the child might develop complex psychological problems. It's enough to make that child grow into an imbecilic bore. Seriously, we need to proof-read every written material before giving others the chance to criticize it.
To the maintenance engineers of this website, I suggest that you develop a software that will subject every contributor to skill writing test that will determine the quality of postings made on this site.
We all must bear in mind, before we make any postings, that whatever we are posting is subject to discovery by internet-obsessed elites. So many people out there are very educated, and will definitely detect the slightest grammatical error. This is not just for William; it is for every participant in this room. The problem I have with his posting is its dryness while the problem I have with the critics of his posting is annoying grammatical errors. Let's all face it guys. If you don't have confidence in your writing, it won't hurt to seek assistance from a more experienced writer. We've all gone through that stage, although most people are still stuck. My dad has a mastery of writing. So, I used to take my writings to him to filter off errors before I would let the final reader enjoy my creative writing. That was how I was able to advanced to the stage I am at now. Now, no one gets to read any piece of writing from me before I let it out in the open.
Let us all make unwavering efforts to impove our writing skills. We are Africans with numerous talents. Join me in the effort to uplift the image of our great nation and our continent as whole. Thank you.
