In the past year, Burna Boy has been on a superhuman roll, doing flawless work on everything from his own singles to features on other artists’ songs. Thankfully, he maintains that energy on “My Baby” — a standout track off R2Bees’ new album, Site 15.

On the mid-tempo track, heart-on-his-sleeve Burna Boy makes a rare but very welcome appearance, joining the Ghanaian hip-hop duo to sing and rap about wanting a passionate relationship with an attractive woman who’s caught their eyes.

While Burna Boy might not have been given a ton to do on the track — he doesn’t get his own verse — the afro-fusion star still manages walk away as the song’s most memorable player, soaring on the standout bridge with his infectious delivery.

As for the rest of the 15-track album, which includes solid guest work from two other talented stars — Wizkid and King Promise — R2Bees deliver a bunch of solid bops, reminding us why they are one of the most celebrated Ghanaian acts working today.
