ARGUNGU

Argungu festival is celebrated in Argungu town of the Kabawas in Kebbi State . It is celebrated last week of febuary or early March just after Ramadam (Muslim) fasting . It is the biggest fishing festival in Africa with about 5,000 men grouping in the muddy water to catch fish.Other actitvities like wrestling , Swimming and dances also feature during the festival.Mmanwu Ijele Masquerade

IHUEN EGUARE
This festival is celebrated by the Ishan people of Ekpoma in Edo state . Ihuen Eguare is usually marked every last weekend of february. Eguare means ''Centre'' and the founder, Udo and Egiesan have their tombs beside the King's palace. This serves as the shrine during the remembrance celebration .
